How to use SKYPE(v3.0)

Skype improve its program frequently so please download the latest version of Skype from
http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/helloagain.html

[[ How to download the latest version of SKYPE]]

Please click 'Download now'.

If you use English version
English explanation shall
appear, then click 'RUN'

You might see a confirmation
message, asking if you're sure
you want to run this software.
Click 'Run' again.

Select your language
and check the agreement,
if you accept the terms,
and click 'Install'.

When the download has finished,
the Skype will appear.

Please Click 'Sign in' after filling in
'Skype Name' and 'Password'

Please uncheck
'Sign me in when Skype starts' and
'Start Skype when the computer starts'.

[[ How to have a new SKYPE name ]]

If you don't have a Skype Name,you can make from
'Don't have a Skyep Name?'

Choose Skype Name
and Password.
If you accept the agreement,
check it and click 'Next'.

Fill out this page, too
and click 'Sign In'.

This is the window you will see
when you have signed in.

[[ How to have a sound test]]
Choose 'Skype Test Call'
and push 'Green button'
for a test call.

[[ How to have a video test]]

For setting of webcam,
choose 'Tool'-'Options'

Click 'Video' and check
'Enable Skype Video' and
'Start my video
automatically' and save.

Also you can have a
video test from
'Test Webcam'

[[ How to make a call ]]

You can invite a
contact(=member) to do
audio and video online.

To do this, please double click
on the contact or click the
'call button', green icon.

*In the case of not seeing
the contact online,
please invite him/her anyway because sometimes Skype
shows a contact as offline
on the main window even if
the contact is really online.

When you make a call,
the contact will see this.

If you receive a call (are invited),
click the 'call button', green icon
to answer the call.

When the call start,
you can talk
and can see his/her image.

*If you cannot see yourself
in the window,
please start your video
from the options
'Call'-'Video'-
'Start My Webcam'
at the top of the window
or click 'Start My Video'

[[ How to start a text chat]]

Right click on the
online contact,
and choose 'Start Chat'

Type your message
for him/her here and
push 'Enter'

[[ How to view chat record]]

We can view chat record
by two ways.

First, copy the chat link.
Right click on the chat area,
and choose 'Copy Chat Link'

and paste it into the internet browser,
then it will be appeared aoutmatically.
(we need to log-in to SKYPE)

Another way is very simple.

Right click on the chat area,
and choose "Select All"
and choose "Copy Selection"

and paste it into the new file
such as "txt" and save it.

[[ How to add a new contact into your contact list]]

Click 'Contacts'
- 'Add Contact'.

Enter his/her
SKYPE Name, full name
or e-mail address
and click 'Find'.

Select the person
you are looking for
and click 'Add Skype Contact'

Input your invitation message
and click 'OK'.

Now, you can see
the new contact is listed
