   NECESSARY EQUIPMENT
   PC and Internet

You need a computer with Windows Visat or Windows XP or Windows Me or Windows 2000 or Windows98.
Mac, Windows95 and WindowsNT are not available with video chat so far.

Now SKYPE video chat can be used with Mac. For further information, please refer to SKYPE website.

Please confirm whether you can use broad-band Internet.
If you are using dial-up or ISDN, there is the possibility that you may not be able to get a good picture/sound quality on video chat therefore we recommend that you use broad-band, such as an optical fiber or ADSL connection.

   Headset and Web-cam

In a lesson, a web-cam and a headset are required.
(If you are an advanced learner, audio-only lessons without a web-cam are also possible.)

You can buy both a web-cam and a headset quite cheaply.
Reference market price (in Japan) is as follows;
     Headset     : About 1,000 yen~
     Web-cam  : About 3,000 yen~

If you are in Japan, you may find them at Amazon Japan. If you are in US, try Amazon.com.

*If you are neither in Japan nor in US, any local PC shop, or online shop, etc will sell them.
