はじめまして。Hajimemashite.
もろふしです。Morofushi desu.
I am currently teaching Japanese at Monash University and a private language school in Australia. Since I graduated in 2008 from Monash University with a Master of Applied Japanese Linguistics, my teaching philosophy has developed, including curriculum development, ICT in language learning, immigrants and social issues in Japan. I have extended my research to the area of curriculum innovation, particularly focusing on technology use in second language education, carrying out action research on the use of social networking technologies for beginning learners.
Through my teaching experiences, I have generated the teaching philosophy that learning language should provide a ‘bridge’ to the real-world for students. In order to build this bridge, I have been able to actively integrate authentic materials and Japanese language into the curriculum so that the lesson environment can foster a strong foundation in language skills and cultural knowledge that students can actually utilise outside the classroom. In the Australian setting, where there are students with different cultural backgrounds, I have developed differentiating skills to design effective lessons and deliver consultations in order to meet individual students’ needs.
I am able to customise my lessons according to your level, needs and life style. Please feel free to make any requests. Let's learn and enjoy Japanese!

Konnichiwa! Hajimemashite! Hashimoto desu.
I have been a qualified teacher of Japanese language since 2004. Since then I have been teaching at many public and private schools, and even cultural institutes and language centers in Europe.
I also have many private students (from 7 years old kids up to fifty something adults) from several countries (e.g. Bulgaria, China, Germany, Italy, USA).
My students have studied Japanese for many different reasons:
Attending university courses in Japan, Business, Travel, Familiarization with Japanese culture, JLPT examination (some of my students passed JPLT 2 and 3), or, just for fun.
Please let me know which is your goal and I will customize my lessons to suit your needs.
Choosing the right course material and textbooks is very important to make lessons more effective so I will help you selecting the best one, if you need it.
And if you have choosen the best textbook by yourself,
even if it`s not my main book, i could get it.
So though you can`t see it at my text list,don`t worry.
You can tell and ask me so that we can use it for our lesson.
During the first lesson please let me check where your weaknesses are and I will figure out your Japanese knowledge level so we can set up together the right learning plan.

1986 Japanese teaching training by U.S. Department of State Japanese Training Center staff.
1987- Teaching Japanese to mainly expats and their family, and for University summer exchange program (Korean Students), new employee's training programs (Chinese employees).
1990 Getting certificate as passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test.
Before teaching Japanese, I have worked for a Japanese company, International Trading Dept, for 10 years. I completely switched my job in 1989.
Now, I am not only teaching Japanese, also making custom made course design according to students' needs, goal (short term and long term) or course period.
For my over 20 years experience, I had many types of students from zero level to really advanced, from children to CEO, like some have just come to Japan on business, some want to review basic Japanese, some want to get information from Japanese paper, magazine or TV news, some want to give a presentation or speech in Japanese, and more. Of course, some want to take an exam (JPLT, BJT, or other special qualification) as well.
My English level is intermediate as above list, but enough to explain Japanese grammar, culture, check and confirm their presentation or speech with English scripts, which had been satisfied by many students.
Textbooks I showed above are just for example, besides some are revised but I can give lessons you want. For example, one student wants to review and review one textbook which he learned Japanese first time (about 20 years ago), I have the book but its style is little bit old fashioned we know, so I pick up grammar points and use new vocabulary or new situation.

わたしは、３ねんかん にほんごきょうしを してます。
2006年の10月から とうきょうで アジアのがくせいに おしえていました。2007年の6月に アメリカへ 行きました。それから、2年間 アメリカ人のこどもや おとなに プライベートレッスンをしたり、トヨタのビジネスマンに グループレッスンで おしえて いました。
いまは、トヨタに ふにんできている がいこくじんに おしえています。また、ブラジル人のこどもにも おしえています。
たんとうした レベルは、おもに しょきゅう から ちゅうきゅう です。JLPTの たいさくじゅぎょうも しました。
テキストは、にほんでは 「みんなの日本語」を使っていますが、アメリカでは「Japanese for Busy People」や「げんき」を 使っていました。どのテキストも たいおう できます。
じゅぎょうは、テキストだけでなく オリジナルで つくったプリントや 絵や 写真などを 使って たのしくやっています。
わたしは、たのしく わかりやすい じゅぎょうを モットーに やっています。せいとさんに「日本語の べんきょうは おもしろい！」と言われると とても うれしいです。これからも そうやって 言ってもらえるように がんばっていきたいと おもいます。

Konnitiha!
After working in a Japanese electronic company around 40 years,
I took the correspondence course to be a Japanese language teacher
at ALC Press. Then, I got the training for a year,in the school.
specialized in training the professional Japanese language teacher.
From September 2005 on, I gave several courses at Japanese language
school in Tokyo, mainly for the foreign business person.
From this time on, I would like to start the Japanese lesson online.
In my opinion, it is impossible to master every little thing about
Japanese language in a limited course of the lesson. Thus, not only
teaching vocabulary, idiom, grammar etc.,I put great importance on
teaching the rules that lies behind the idea of Japanese language
and the application of it in a reality.
I would like to give you the tool of idea to learn by yourself
afterwards, and the idea to apply in the actual situation of your life. Through the lesson, you will be able to understand the way
Japanese people see the things, their sense of value besides the
culture, when they use the language in a daily situatioｎ．
Through the pleasant lessons and conversations, you would acquire
the essential part of the language of your own accord.
My teaching method is no mediation language way, which means we use only the Japanese language by start

I graduated with a degree in Japanese Literature from Rikkyoo University.Upon graduating. I worked for High School and Junior High School as a Japanese literature and language teacher for 8 years. And I had been a staff of National Japanese Institute as a researcher of teaching Japanese section. After 3 years of working for some language institutes, I decided to study more and earned B.A. in teaching Japanese at New Port Asia Pacific University in 2000. And then I have been teaching Japanese.

はじめまして。かたおかです。
I want my students to enjoy studying Japanese. That is why I always set up the lessons based on the student's needs and aspirations. It is best if we can agree a goal and work together towards reaching it,
On completion of Japanese trainee teacher's course at Regent's College in London (Institute of International Education) in March 1997 I was awarded the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) Diploma in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (450 hours). Thereafter, I taught private Japanese language lessons (mainly to business people) in London.
In September 1999 I returned to Japan to establish my own school in Oita. Since then, the vast majority of my students have been English speakers employed in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers.
I also teach foreigners in the local University and set out programmes for their study. I prepare examination papers for these classes and mark the results. These students are from many countries who then move on to study mainstream subjects at the university.
On occasions, at the request of the local Prefecture Office, I have held short intensive courses for foreigners who were in Japan for on-job-training etc.
In my career, I have taught more than 400 people from 21 countries. My experience helps me to understand the difficulties encountered by foreign students and how best to overcome these difficulties. I have experience of preparing students to take the JLPT and have specialized in one-to-one tuition.

Hello, everyone. My name is Yachiyo Yates. I graduated from Aichi University majoring in German Literature. I have lived in the U.S for over 10 years. I was a grad student studying ESL education in Fort Worth, TX and moved to the sunshine state about 5 years ago. Since I have lived in the U.S for a long time, I speak English and speak some Spanish as well.
